Faskally House was once the home of the Butter family, to this day the main
landowners in and around Pitlochy. Since 1997 it has been owned by a trust
that organises Christian youth camps. Its grounds, most of which are now
separated from the house, were developed as a model forest in the
nineteenth century, so there is an unusually wide mix of trees, and the man
made Loch Dunmore. The public can wander around these freely. How to find
